Teams can be formed from coworkers, family members or just friends.  Agree on a name and have all your 5K runners register with the team name.  Team members are always eligible for overall or age group awards, regardless of how the team does.

The team with the most registered members crossing the finish line will win the team award. Teams do not need to finish in a certain time frame or run the race together -- they just must have the maximum number of registered members crossing the finish line.  A traveling plaque will be transferred to the winning team to display for the year.  It will have an engraved plate of each winning team and feature the current team photo.
